The CinCraft Scenario system can be configured in two different ways depending on whether the optional Link device is used or not.

The two configuration options are illustrated in the next two sections.

# Without CinCraft Link

To setup the system in this configuration, follow the steps below:

::::::WorkflowBlock

:::VerticalSplitItem
Connect the CamBar loom to the Origin, the connectors on the Origin are labelled with a CamBar icon

The BNC connector on the CamBar loom can be connected to a Genlock sync if required for LED wall operation, otherwise it can remain unplugged.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
An HD-SDI signal from the camera can be connected to the “Video In” of the Origin
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
An ethernet connection can be connected to the “LAN” port of the Origin. Internet access is required for the first-time setup of the system but is not mandatory for normal operation
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Keyboard, mouse and a display can be connected to the Origin for the first-time setup of the system
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Power should be connected to the Origin, this can be provided via the supplied PSU or using an accessory cable from a compatible camera power output. The Origin requires approximately 30W.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
If an “Encoder Cable” is being used, connect this to the “Encoders” port of the Origin
:::

:::

:::::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
If using an “Encoder Cable” connect this to the “Encoders” port of the Link.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
If using a genlock for LED hidden marker applications, connect this to the “Sync In” port of the Link.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Power should be connected to the Link, this can be provided via the supplied PSU or using an accessory cable from a compatible camera power output. The Link supports 8-30V input and draws 24W maximum.
:::

::::VerticalSplit{layout="left"}
:::VerticalSplitItem
Connect a Gigabit ethernet cable (Cat5e minimum) between the Link ethernet port and the Origin, ensure to connect to the correct port on the Origin.

The SDI video signal from the main camera should still connect directly to the Origin, it does **NOT** connect to the Link.

## Notes

- The Link must be connected to the Origin via gigabit ethernet, it is not possible to connect the devices wirelessly.
- When using the Link, the SDI camera signal from the camera must connect to the Origin. It is not possible to transmit the camera signal via the ethernet connection between the Link and Origin
- When using the Link, the Scenario software will automatically detect when it is connected to the Origin. Always make sure to connect the Link directly to the network interface with the Link symbol otherwise the Link will not be detected by the Origin
- Providing a genlock signal is not required for normal operation of the CamBar. Genlock is only required when choosing to synchronise the CamBar for LED hidden tracking marker applications.
