Hardware De-registration
Hardware de-registration describes the process for completely removing a CinCraft Origin from the CinCraft Portal account that it is registered to.
Hardware de-registration should only be conducted when it is not intended to use the system anymore, such as when selling it for instance.
Before starting hardware de-registration ensure that:
- The Origin is connected to the internet
- All licenses have been revoked
- Login details for the CinCraft Portal principal account are available
To begin hardware de-registration, navigate to the “License” panel of the settings window and select “Hardware De-registration" from the drop down menu

If the system still has active licenses on it, then the following warning will be displayed. Please revoke all licenses from the same dropdown menu before proceeding

Following this, it is required to enter the hardware PIN. This is to prevent accidental or malicious de-registration.

The PIN can be found on the “Device and License Management” page of the CinCraft Portal. If multiple Origins are registered to a portal account, the hardware name and hardware ID can be used to help identify the specific Origin
