Dashboard
The Dashboard interface is reached via the “tracking” tab. Once a tracking config has been selected the dashboard will be presented to the user.
The dashboard provides the user with full control of the CinCraft Scenario system.
- Change calibration
- Change CamBar settings
- Change Tracking settings
- Adjust world alignment position
- Adjust CamBar offset
The interface is separated into 4 primary areas
- The “Views” area - Display feeds from the CamBar, Main Camera, or 3D perspective and orthographic views. The user can choose the number of feeds presented
- Tracking Status - Details about the current tracking performance are displayed here
- Panel selector - Provides settings panels for controlling various aspects of the system
- Panels - The selected panel will display here

The main viewing area of the dashboard can be configured using the icons in the upper right

The content of each view window can be adjusted using the dropdown menu in the upper right of each window

The tracking status strip provides information on the current stat of the tracking

The following important information is displayed here:
Displays the timecode the system is using, can be either:
- Cam - The timecode data is being received from the camera SDI signal.
- Internal - Indicates that no timecode data is being received from the camera and a internally generated timecode is being used
If intending to use Wrangler, always ensure that a timecode signal from the camera (Cam) is present, otherwise it will be very hard to synchronise the recorded tracking data with the camera footage
The tracking status of the system is displayed here. It specifically relates to the quality of the natural/marker feature tracking and not to the overall system setup. This means it's possible to have Good tracking when other setup elements such as CamBar Offset, Delay, or World Alignment have not been conducted or are done poorly.
It's intended as a quick way to understand the current status of the tracking stability and status
- Good - No issues, tracking is working optimally
- Unstable - If displayed regularly and for extended periods, then it can indicate that the tracking environment is beginning to get unstable, this can be caused by using Natural tracking in a environment where the lighting or features are not stable. It is NOT an issue to see this displayed intermittently
- Recovery - When the system is not tracking but attempting to reload or recover a previous tracking session then this will be displayed. When in this mode the system will attempt to continue tracking using the non visual sensors inside the CamBar
- Disabled - The tracking is not running at all, this can be caused by the system having nothing to track, observe the CamBar views to ensure that the lenses are not occluded etc.
The points indicates the number of tracking features or marker the system is using at that moment to track. The number of points is color coded to indicate when not enough/too many are present.
The Focus, Iris and Zoom information of the lens is displayed here. The values are inferred from the currently selected "Calibration" and the encoding method used
Displays the position of either:
- Main Camera Nodal Point
- Main Camera Sensor
- The CamBar (centre of the bar)
Relative to the currently selected world alignment (zero point).
The Main camera values are assumed from the CamBar offset and lens calibration, so the CamBar value can be considered the Ground Truth
The user is able to select which element the values are relative to using the dropdown menu

This area is where the various different panels can be selected. Depending on the current tracking mode (marker or natural) then certain panel options may not be displayed.
During certain stages of the system setup, warning icons may be displayed here to indicate that some setup steps are required

The following Panels are available:
- CamBar Offset - For viewing and adjusting the offset of the CamBar relative to the main camera
- Alignment - For adjusting the world alignment of the tracking
- CamBar - For adjusting CamBar settings such as exposure, gain etc
- Settings - Changes relating to the Tracking Config can be made here
- Reflective Marker - Adjust reflective marker based settings
- Measure Tool - An interface for making measurements based of the tracking
Please see the subsequent sections in this chapter for more information on each panel
