Fine Tuning A Lens

Lens finetuning is a process that allows a user to make changes to the calibration information of a lens.

Finetuning is only possible for Template and manually imported lenses and is not required for VLP lenses.

For lenses that may require fine tuning, a notification is displayed on the lens icon when they are created/imported. The lens CAN be used without fine tuning/refining but for optimal results it is recommended to conduct the fine tuning process.

The finetuner can be accessed at any time be either clicking the yellow notification or by selecting the “Refine Lens Calibration Points” option from the hamburger menu
