Via A Lens Control System
Pre-requisites:
- Any LBUS compatible lens motors (cForce etc.)
- A LCUBE CUB-1
- A CinCraft Scenario LCUB-1 Cable
This configuration uses an LCUB-1 to interface between the motors and the Scenario system. To setup the system in this mode:
- Connect the LBUS compatible motors to the LCUB-1.
- Connect the CinCraft Scenario LCUB-1 Cable to the Serial port on the LCUB-1.
- Connect the other end of the CinCraft Scenario cable to the Encoders port of the Origin, or the Link if it is being used.
- Ensure that the motors are properly calibrated prior to using the lens in CinCraft Scenario.
Pre-requisites:
- A Preston lens control system using a MDR-3 or MDR-4
- A CinCraft Scenario Preston Cable
This configuration interfaces between the MDR and the Scenario system. To setup the system in this mode:
- Connect the motors to the MDR-3 or MDR-4. Ensure that the motors are correctly calibrated
- Connect the CinCraft Scenario Preston Cable to the Serial port on the MDR unit
- Connect the other end of the CinCraft Scenario cable to the Encoders port of the Origin, or the Link if it is being used
Never plug a Tilta Nucleus cable directly into the CinCraft Scenario equipment, only ever connect the CinCraft Scenario Tilta cable between the CinCraft hardware and the Tilta Nucleus system
Ensure the CinCraft end of the cable is connected to the CinCraft equipment, connecting the cable backwards will cause damage to the CinCraft hardware
Pre-requisites:
- A Tilta Nucleus lens control system
- A CinCraft Scenario Tilta Cable
This configuration interfaces between the Tilta Nucleus motors and the Scenario system. To setup the system in this mode:
- Ensure that the motors are correctly calibrated.
- Connect the CinCraft Scenario Tilta Cable to the EXT port on the motors.
- Connect the other end of the CinCraft Scenario cable to the Encoders port of the Origin, or the Link if it is being used
Pre-requisites:
- A Teradek RT lens control system using a MDR.X
- The MDR.X must have Teradek RT Firmware 1.2.5 minimum
- A CinCraft Scenario Teradek Cable
This configuration interfaces between the Teradek MDR.X and the Scenario system. To setup the system in this mode:
- Ensure that the motors are correctly calibrated
- Connect the CinCraft Scenario Teradek Cable to the In-1 or In-2 port on the MDR.X.
- Connect the other end of the CinCraft Scenario cable to the Encoders port of the Origin, or the Link if it is being used
- For lens data to be correctly received by CinCraft Scenario, it is required to have "Feedback" enabled on the Teradek MDR device, this is activated using the following menu path:
- Menu: Motors > Rx Config > IN1 Mode > FEEDBACK
