We're pleased to announce the release of CinCraft Scenario 2.2
This minor release includes some exciting new features and important stability fixes and is recommended for all users.
- CamBar Measure - It is now possible to measure the distance between tracking points as well as the travel distance of the CamBar
- New floor alignment method - A new method for aligning the ground plane is available in the world alignment panel.
- World alignment changes are now updated in real time in the tracking data stream
- Magnitude of World alignment changes using hotkeys has been adjusted to allow for more control
- Number of tracking points are now shown with a meaningful color depending on number detected
- Tracking status is now shown in the CamBar offset
- Recovery mode warning message has been made less obtrusive and a restart tracking button has been added to the status bar
- Lens scale code has been added to the calibration selection interface
- CamBar offset assistant can now be easily restarted
- Now possible to display position measurements relative to either the Main Camera sensor, Nodal position, or CamBar position
- CPU usage on Link improved
- SDKLITE tracking data streams now updates when network settings change
- Lens encoders now detected without a tracking configuration active
- Link no longer shows a temporary connection warning when booting
- Crash fixed when a corrupt or empty project is detected
- Lens calibration now supports interlaced camera signals
- SDI video feed now available without an active tracking configuration
- Internet uplink is now more robustly detected
- Firmware update of CamBar no longer loops
- Discrepancy in augmented overlay in UI corrected
- Correct status displayed when no CamBar connected
- Software updater made more robust
- Tracking configurations no longer get corrupted under edge conditions
- CamBar manager made more robust
- Intermittent stutter with low delay configurations resolved
- UI status made more clear when remote UI is disconnected
- Encoder range/homing language made more clear in UI
- Error/Warning message color has been unified
- Encoder mapping values are now clamped when large values are reported
- CamBar offset values are now not applied when cancelling the Offset assistant
- Fields in Camera entry are not cleared when moving between database and manual
- Import/Export of a calibration is now only shown when using a remote UI connection
- When cancelling out of lens calibration, unsaved changes are correctly reverted
- Partial connection of the CamBar is now notified to the user
- Tracking status now correctly reported when in edge cases
- Network manager CPU usage improved
- De-registration process made clearer
- LAN network status made clearer when disconnected
- Augmented tracking points no longer render outside sensor area of camera
- License expiration date now correctly reported
- Timecode display in Scenario now reports correctly when No Timecode is present
- Scenario UI correctly reports when the CamBar is not reported in a timely manner
- IR strength setting is no longer reset when moving between configs using a different CamBar framerate
- Pointcloud density setting can no longer be adjusted in Marker based tracking mode
- The CamBar "sync" option has been temporarily moved to a new "experimental" section of the settings as some hardware instabilities have been identified when operating with a genlock sync connected to the CamBar
