Applying Licenses
Pre-requisite – Before applying a license, ensure that a license has been purchased and is available on the portal account that the Origin is registered too.
Applying a license is managed via the CinCraft portal.
- Navigate to the “Device and License Management” tab and locate your hardware from the list of registered devices.
- The “+” button will display a popup window displaying all available licences that can be applied to the Origin
- Only “unassigned” licences will be available to assign. That means if a licence has already been assigned to another device, then it will not be displayed here.
- Once the desired licence has been selected, simply press “activate now” to download the licence to the Origin
The Origin must be connected to the internet for this to work
Once a licence has been assigned to a device for the first time then it is considered as being Activated. This means it will expire at the duration end from the moment it was activated, revoking a licence will allow you to move it to another device but it will NOT stop the licence from expiring while it is unassigned.
In the License Tab of the settings panel of CinCraft Scenario, all currently active licences will be displayed.
Press the “Fetch Licenses” button to refresh the list after a licence has been assigned to the device via the portal
